Louis Ramirez
Product designer with six years in B2B SaaS across research, interaction design, and design systems. I've rebuilt inherited complexity on legacy platforms, owning product design end to end, building the design system that powers it, and frontloading low-cost optionality so products scale without burning dev capacity. My decisions are research backed, my feedback focused on solving problems as a team, and success measured objectively.
Experience
UX/UI Designer — Assembly Software (Neos)
Apr 2024 – Oct 2026- Owned and built Neos's UX design system end to end, every component, pattern, and template, built HTML/CSS/JS-native with Tailwind semantic tokens to power accurate, consistent AI-generated prototypes after the team moved from Figma to an AI prototyping workflow.
- Owned design direction end to end on a ground-up rebuild of Neos's Outlook add-in, the platform's top-voted and most-supported request, lifting beta CSAT to 8.4/10 from the legacy add-in's 2/10 and earning a leadership decision to widen rollout while still in beta.
- Redesigned Neos's automation tool from an unstructured three-action list into a sorted, pattern-based system (alphabetical order, verb-led naming, verb-based color and icon affordance consistent across surfaces), driving adoption to 234 of 337 active accounts, about 69%.
- Designed Neos's unified Case Contacts tab and coined "Involvement" as a product concept to consolidate fractured contact types into one legible view, adopted by roughly 61% of active accounts.
- Held the line on grid legibility: capped columns and moved detail to a side pane to remove horizontal scrolling on dense legal tables for a non-power-user audience.
- Drove a tokenized rebuild of legacy Neos surfaces spanning tokens, dark mode, accessibility, and space efficiency, balancing modern patterns against legacy behaviors to keep long-time users while improving the experience for new ones.
- Analyzed mixed-method research (interviews, competitive teardowns, Ideas-Portal mining, Pendo) into prioritized, build-ready UX decisions.
UX Designer — BP3 Global (Agency)
Jul 2023 – Feb 2024- Lead designer for the agency's largest client, a B2B SaaS product in the court-reporting space, owning Figma design from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.
- Expanded the client's component library and led UI quality on the engagement, applying product UI experience the rest of the pod lacked.
- Coached the client's new product owners on sharper problem statements and roadmapped features from MVP to fuller scope, producing cleaner requirements and handoff documentation.
UX Designer — Accelo
Jul 2021 – Jul 2023- Led all user research for the pilot module of a 12+ module B2B product redesign, as one of three designers on Accelo's first-ever UX team: discovery interviews, personas, click-path analytics, card sorting, and focus-group validation.
- Designed the two-part Anchor/Tabs interaction framework that became the structural backbone for the entire product redesign, balancing manager and individual-contributor data priorities.
- Built and refined reusable Figma UI components and reviewed every component's controls before release, contributing to the team's design-system build.
- Built Accelo's first UX research practice from scratch as the company's only UX professional, challenging PM and PO assumptions against findings until research duty was adopted across the team.
